WHAT’S THE BEST WAY(S) TO GET INVOLVED AND STAY CONNECTED TO YOUR CHILD'S EDUCATION??

One of the fastest and easiest ways to keep up-to-date on what’s going on around campus is to log in to our website at claytonvalley.org.  The Home page is updated almost daily with news, events, important dates and regular updates from Executive Director, Dave Linzey.  Additionally, teachers post homework and class updates, there are updates on sports, you can subscribe to our email newsletter and all business information is listed there.

You might also want to “Like” our CVCHS Facebook page.  You can find it simply by searching for Clayton Valley Charter High School in the search box on Facebook.  We update several times a week so you won’t miss anything!

Now that your student has started school, you will also want to create your PowerSchool account.  This is where you will find grades, attendance and homework/assignment information.  It’s an invaluable tool to help you stay informed on how your child is doing! You can find the PowerSchool portal on the front page of the website directly under the pictures.

Do you like active involvement on campus?  Consider adding your name to our list of volunteers.  These people get called regularly by our volunteer coordinator, April Winship, to help in the office, around campus, do special projects, etc.  If that interests you, please go to the claytonvalley.org website and click the “Volunteer” link under the Parents tab at the top of the page.

As you can see, there are many ways to get connected at CVCHS.  Each and every one of them is important and vital to the success of our school.  Please consider some or all of these ways to help, get connected and stay informed.  Your child’s success depends on it!
