A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Good afternoon CVCHS families! We are beginning the second week of the second quarter of the 2017/18 school year.  We have weathered the rescheduling of the Homecoming activities and are beginning the observance of Red Ribbon Week that reminds students the value of leading drug free lives. We also continue to promote activities around Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The CVCHS women’s volleyball team celebrated at games last Tuesday. Football is going to combine their awareness event this Friday night at their contest against Los Lomas. Friday also will be Senior night for football, band, cheer leaders, team managers and trainers. NCS play-offs for various sports (Water Polo / Tennis/ Cross-Country / Golf / Volleyball) begin next week.  Winter sports (Basketball / Wrestling / Soccer) will begin in just a few weeks.

CVCHS DRAMA PRESENTS 'ROMEO AND JULIET: A ROCK AND ROLL TRAGEDY'

CVCHS's fall Drama Production, 'Romeo and Juliet: A Rock and Roll Tragedy' is here! It opens next Friday, October 27th and runs the 27th and 28th at 7pm and the 29th at 3pm. Admission is $10, $5 for students, seniors, and children under 12.

This production combines the original Shakespearean text of the star-crossed lovers and their feuding families with modern music and dance numbers. The show runs just about 2 hours, so it's a great introduction to those who have never seen, or are skittish about seeing, Shakespeare on stage.

Come out and support the hard work of the students and teachers!
