Board Elections & Appointments

Clayton Valley Charter High School (CVCHS) is seeking to fill four upcoming vacancies (Community, Educator, Parent, and Certificated Teacher Representatives) with terms of January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2027 on the CVCHS Governing Board. Candidates must be committed to the mission and vision of CVCHS. All Board Members are volunteers and no compensation will be provided for these positions.

Potential candidates must attend a Mandatory Board Training on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 11 AM-2 PM in the CVCHS Library.

Interested individuals are encouraged to fill out an application and submit it by Monday, October 2, 2023 by 11:59 PM PST. Applications must be emailed to the CVCHS Governing Board at board.secretary@claytonvalley.org. 

The Governing Board will interview candidates at a public CVCHS Board Meeting in November. At a December public meeting, the Board will vote on selecting candidates for the appointed positions. Voting for the Parent and Teacher candidates will take place in December at CVCHS. The selected candidates will then be seated at a January public meeting and, at that point, can function as Board members.
