New! You can complete the 2019–20 FAFSA form using the myStudentAid app. Download the myStudentAid app in the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The myFAFSA component—which is used to complete the FAFSA form—is the app’s featured function.

Cash for College – FAFSA & CA Dream Act

 California Cash for College (CCFC) workshops provide students and their families an opportunity to receive FREE, professional help to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CA Dream Act Application.

What to Bring - 1. Bring Student and Parent Social Security #’s (and Alien Registration #’s if you are not a U.S. Citizen). If you don’t have either, you may be eligible for the CA DREAM Act.

  1. Bring your family’s most recent 2017 Federal tax forms like 1040, W-2, bank statements, etc.  You will not have to reveal this information to anyone, but you will need it to complete the forms. If your family does not file taxes and/or receives public assistance please bring those statements.
  2. Your school has submitted your Cal Grant GPA to the California Student Aid Commission. To check the status of your Cal Grant, create an account at webgrants4students.org
