Microsoft Office 365: Student Email and Document Collaboration
Clayton Valley Charter High School provides Microsoft Office 365 e-mail and document collaboration for students. Office 365 delivers a cutting edge and feature rich email and document collaboration experience to CVCHS students, including Microsoft Office software for installation on student-owned devices at no cost.
Office 365 is a suite of online services to help you organize your academic life, stay on top of assignments, and keep in touch with teachers and classmates. Contact your teachers and fellow students with the Outlook 365 email service. Collaborate on homework assignments with Office 365 OneDrive and keep track of your schedule with the professional calendaring solution included.
Your Office 365 account also gives you access to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote anywhere online! Work on group projects, share ideas, and collaborate on documents. Files can be saved to the cloud and accessed from any device (iOS, Chrome, Windows) connected to the Internet.

2. Enter your email address (<first letter of first name><first letter of last name><student ID>@cvchsstudent.org) in the username box.
3. Enter your Windows/Office 365/Schoology password in the password box.
HOW TO SEND EMAIL, UPDATE YOUR CALENDAR, AND FIND PEOPLE
Once you are logged in, you will have full access to your email account, calendar, and a directory of people at Clayton Valley. Use the Outlook, Calendar, and People options on the top ribbon to change tasks. Office 365 works just like any other modern webmail software.
If you would prefer to add your email to your personal computer, phone, or tablet, you can download the Microsoft Office 365 applications via this link (log in with your CVCHS email account).
HOW TO CREATE AND SHARE MICROSOFT OFFICE DOCUMENTS
If you would like to create new Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or OneNote files simply click on the OneDrive link on the top ribbon. You will then see the option to create a new file or upload current files.
Once you have created a new Office document or opened a current one, you can share the file with anyone at Clayton Valley by simply clicking the Share button and typing in their first and last name. Once you have shared your file with your classmate or teacher, they will receive an email with a link to the document.
