Bring Your Own Device: Suggestions

The suggestions above represent devices that meet or exceed the minimum requirements as specified in the BYOD Handbook, and are meant as a guide only. Given the multitude of devices on the market today, Clayton Valley Charter High School does not endorse any particular device or group of devices, as each student's budget and requirements are different. Clayton Valley Charter High School also does not endorse any computer retail stores.

We recommend you shop around for the best price and service for whichever device you choose to buy. Educational pricing may be available for the suggested devices by purchasing online at the following websites:

Apple:  www.apple.com/education

Google:  www.google.com/edu

Microsoft:  www.microsoft.com/edu

Please Note:

Chromebook Management
Some online retailers require or encourage the purchase of a Google Chrome Management Console license when purchasing a Chromebook, typically costing $25 - 30. This is not needed when purchasing a Chromebook for personal/BYOD use.
