"13 Reasons Why"
Things to Know for Parents and Families. 

"13 Reasons Why" is a new series on Netflix based on a young adult novel in which a 17-year old ultimately takes her own life, and leaves behind a series of recordings for 13 people whom she believed were part of the reason. If you have watched the show and feel like you need support or someone to talk to reach out. Talk with a friend, family member, a counselor, or therapist. There is always someone who will listen.If you feel your child is at risk, don't hesitate to get help immediately. Call 911 or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
