Benefits:  
Clayton Valley Charter High School provides full dental, vision and a $25,000 Life Insurance Policy to all employees.  CVCHS subsidizes the cost of the medical plans as outlined on our Benefits Cost Information Sheet (see below).

Benefit changes are made only upon hire or during open enrollment each Fall, unless you are experiencing a "qualifying event" as outlined below. It is important to notify Michelle Hull prior to accessing your account on VBAS to make any changes to your benefit plan.

"Qualifying Events":
- Death or Birth
- Marriage
- Loss/Change of Employment

* Please note that Charter Life may require you to provide proof of your "Qualifying Event" before changes to your benefits coverage can be confirmed.

Flexible Spending Accounts:
Flexible Spending Accounts provide a cost shelter to pay for "medically necessary" and dependent care, under 13 years old, needs with pre-tax dollars. To enroll for a Flex Spending Account, just sign on to VBAS during the open enrollment period and follow the step-by-step instructions (See below for more information on FSA and for enrollment).
