Here at Clayton Valley Charter, we want all students to thrive. But as in any large community, there are families who may need our help at times. Clayton Valley Cares is a program at CVCHS which will allow us to fulfill some urgent needs of those families. Some face homelessness, loss of income, illness, injury or other situations leaving them temporarily in need of assistance of their community. We want to help.

We have a generous community and we are reaching out to you to help make a tough time a bit brighter for some of our own CV families. We will be expanding the program and providing more information soon, so stay tuned. Currently, we are asking for the following immediate needs:

  • Grocery Store Gift Cards
  • Gas Station Gift Cards
  • VISA, Target, CVS, or other gift cards
  • Clipper Cards for bus/BART (available at Walgreens)
  • Monetary donations to help us purchase items still needed

For Gift Card Donations: Please drop off gift cards to the Treasurer's Office in a sealed envelope labeled “Clayton Valley Cares,” please note $$ monetary amount on gift cards.

For Monetary Donations: Checks may also be dropped off to the Treasurer's Office in a sealed envelope, made out to CVCHS with the memo line noted "Clayton Valley Cares" to assure proper routing.

All aid to families is strictly confidential and coordinated through our Guidance Department at Clayton Valley. Students and families, see your guidance counselor for help.
