CVCHS Choir has a long history of successful choral programming and performances.
Under the direction of Elizabeth Wagman Emigh, the CVCHS Choirs have been winning awards for over 20 years at nationally adjudicated and competitive music festivals in cities across North America!
There is a place for every CV student in Choir. As an introductory choir, Concert Choir students learn vocal technique and fundamentals of music reading, as well as performing choral music of different styles, cultures, and historical periods. Women's Ensemble is an advanced class for students whose voice range is soprano or alto. Their previous classical choral and music reading experience allows them to hold their own part against others. Students sing a wide variety of repertoire in multiple languages. And Show Choir is a dancing and singing ensemble that specializes in musical theater and pop music. Show Choir performances are high energy showcasing a strong rehearsal discipline.
