ASB stands for Associated Student Body and is the student body government for CVCHS.  ASB is a fourth-period class on campus consisting of a combination of elected, appointed, and selected students. Class students represent the student body, create fun and insightful events for students, manage clubs, organize Blue Crew, plan dances, oversee student-raised funds, and much much more!  Want to learn more?

ASB Leadership officers, Class Officers, and Class Representatives elections begin in February.  Eligibility includes maintaining a 2.5 minimum GPA and exemplary citizenship and leadership.

March Madness 2026

CVCHS wrapped up its annual March Madness basketball tournament this week. Over the course of two weeks, teams of students took to the court to showcase their skills, teamwork, and competitive spirit while classmates packed the stands, cheering loudly and creating an electric atmosphere. The tournament concluded with a fun and spirited final matchup between the CVB student team and members of the CVCHS staff, bringing the event to an exciting close. With great competition, enthusiastic fans, and plenty of Ugly Eagle spirit, the tournament once again delivered unforgettable moments for everyone involved.

Teams of students have been hitting the court to showcase their skills, teamwork, and competitive spirit while classmates pack the stands, cheering loudly and creating an electric atmosphere. With squads battling it out over two weeks for the title of March Madness Champion, the tournament continues to deliver exciting games and unforgettable moments. Whether competing on the court or supporting from the sidelines, the CVCHS community is once again coming together to celebrate one of our favorite traditions.

ASB students attended the 2026 Tri-Valley Leadership Conference hosted at Monte Vista High School, joining students from 16 high schools for a day of collaboration, service, and leadership development. The conference featured an inspiring presentation by Jason Jedamski from Ignite 2 Unite, who shared meaningful strategies for bringing students together and supporting one another on campus. Students then took part in a community service project with Pledge For Humanity, assembling toiletry kits and backpacks for foster youth and partner agencies. The afternoon included small breakout sessions that encouraged idea-sharing and connection across schools, rounding out a high-energy day filled with learning, service, new friendships, and fun. Congratulations to the CVCHS ASB for hosting a successful Senior Flea Market on October 18th! The event brought together vendors, students, families, and community members for a fun and vibrant morning of shopping and connection—all in support of our Seniors. Thanks to the hard work of ASB and everyone who participated, the market was a fantastic success that showcased Eagle spirit and community collaboration.
